For Sunday school & church

This week’s Bible lesson, turned into a puzzle.

Write questions from the lesson, like who built the ark or what the dove brought back, and we’ll turn them into a word search. Kids answer each clue, then find the word. Free to make, ready to print before Sunday.

No account needed to make and print.

Why it works

Kids have to remember the story to know the word, so it’s review, not just letter-hunting.

It checks itself. If an answer isn’t in the grid, they go back to the story and think again.

It’s your lesson and your words, from any story and any translation.

How it works

  1. Write your questions

One question for each part of the story, each with a one-word answer.

  2. Choose a grid size

Smaller for little ones, bigger for older kids. Create, and the puzzle is built for you.

  3. Print one for each child

A printer-ready PDF with Name, Date and Class lines, plus a color answer key for you.

Questions teachers and leaders ask

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it's free, and you can make and print a puzzle without an account. A free account lets you save your puzzles to edit or reprint next year.

Which Bible translation does it use?

Yours. You write the questions and answers, so they match the Bible your class reads.

What ages is it for?

Any age that can read. Younger children do well with a short list of names from the story on a small grid. Older kids, youth groups and adults get more from questions, where they have to remember the story to know the word.

Is there an answer key?

Yes. One click downloads a color answer key with every word marked in the grid and every answer listed underneath.

Can I print copies for my whole class?

Yes, as many as you need. Each sheet prints with Name, Date and Class lines at the top, or you can turn those off.

What format are the downloads?

PDF, sized for US Letter paper, so the puzzle and answer key print at the right size. A PNG image is available too, for slides or a church newsletter.

Ready for Sunday morning.
